The University of Agriculture Faisalabad is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Project Officer to join our team. The Project Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple projects, ensuring their successful completion within the specified time frame and budget.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring their successful completion within the specified time frame and budget.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, and team members.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as project management, business administration, or engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a university or research institution.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
