Position Overview

Main Responsibilities
- Transmission Network Management: Manage and oversee the operation, maintenance, and expansion of the transmission network infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply.
- Dispatch Operations: Monitor and control the flow of electricity through the transmission network, optimizing power dispatch to meet demand while maintaining grid stability.
- Fault Analysis and Resolution: Identify, analyze, and rectify faults or disruptions in the transmission network promptly to minimize downtime and ensure reliable power supply.
- Project Management: Coordinate and oversee transmission projects, from planning and design to execution and commissioning, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders to address operational challenges, implement best practices, and foster positive relationships.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to operational teams, including troubleshooting complex issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective measures.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency enhancements, and technology upgrades to improve the performance and reliability of the transmission network.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in power transmission, grid operations, or related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, transmission network design, and operation principles.
- Proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP) and SCADA systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams and stakeholders.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
