Main Responsibilities

As a Consultant at NADRA Gwadar, you will be entrusted with a range of critical responsibilities aimed at enhancing the efficiency and security of national data systems. Your key duties will include:

  • Data Management and Security: Overseeing the integrity and security of the national database. Ensuring that data is protected from unauthorized access and breaches.
  • System Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in existing systems and processes. Proposing and implementing solutions to enhance data accuracy and system efficiency.
  • Policy Development: Assisting in the formulation and updating of policies related to data management and registration processes. Ensuring compliance with national standards and regulations.
  • Technical Support: Providing expert technical support and guidance to the local NADRA team. Training staff on new systems and best practices in data handling.
  • Project Management: Leading and managing special projects aimed at modernizing data infrastructure. Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Acting as a liaison between NADRA and other governmental and non-governmental organizations. Facilitating effective communication and collaboration on shared initiatives.

Job Requirements

To be considered for the Consultant position at NADRA Gwadar, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications will be an advantage.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in database management, data security, or a similar role. Experience with government databases or large-scale data systems will be preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in database management systems (DBMS), cybersecurity measures, and relevant programming languages. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques is also required.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex systems and identify areas for improvement. Experience in developing and implementing data policies is desirable.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing projects from inception to completion. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to think critically and innovate.
  • Integrity and Discretion: High ethical standards and discretion in handling sensitive information. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data protection.
