Position Overview
SBP is currently seeking talented individuals to join its Core Statistics, Digital Innovations, and Settlement Departments. These positions offer a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions in the banking and financial sector while working alongside a dynamic team of professionals.
Main Responsibilities
Core Statistics Department
- Collect, analyze, and interpret economic and financial data to support monetary policy formulation and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain statistical databases and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance data quality and relevance.
- Contribute to the publication of economic and financial indicators and reports.
Digital Innovations Department
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the fintech industry.
- Design and implement digital solutions to enhance the efficiency and security of banking operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate digital innovations into existing systems and processes.
- Provide technical expertise and support for digital projects and initiatives.
Settlement Department
- Facilitate the efficient settlement of interbank transactions and securities transactions.
- Monitor and manage payment systems to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate settlement risks.
- Collaborate with other financial institutions and regulators to enhance settlement infrastructure and processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of banking operations, financial markets, and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with statistical analysis software, programming languages, and digital technologies is an advantage.
