The price of gold in Pakistan went up for the third straight day on Friday, following global market trends.
In the local market, 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs400, reaching Rs282,600, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs342, making it Rs242,283.
On the international market, gold prices also climbed by $2, reaching $2,705 per ounce, along with an additional premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market dropped by Rs27, bringing the rate to Rs3,406 per tola.
