Main Responsibilities
- Maintain Law and Order: Patrol designated areas to deter and detect criminal activities, respond promptly to emergencies, and enforce laws and regulations.
- Crowd Management: Assist in managing crowds during events, demonstrations, or other gatherings to ensure public safety and prevent disturbances.
- Protection Duties: Provide security to high-value targets, VIPs, and critical infrastructure as part of the Special Protection Unit (CPEC), ensuring their safety against potential threats.
- Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with the community, addressing their concerns, and promoting cooperation between law enforcement and the public.
- Report Writing: Prepare accurate and detailed reports of incidents, arrests, and activities, adhering to departmental procedures and protocols.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills in areas such as firearms proficiency, first aid, and crisis intervention.
Job Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized educational board.
- Physical Fitness: Excellent physical condition with the ability to pass physical fitness tests, including running, jumping, and endurance exercises.
- Age Limit: Between 18 to 28 years at the time of application. Relaxation in age limit may be considered for candidates belonging to specified categories.
- Height Requirement: For male candidates, a minimum height of 5 feet 5 inches, and for female candidates, a minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches.
- Criminal Record: Must have a clean criminal record, with no history of involvement in criminal activities.
- Communication Skills: Proficient in Urdu and preferably English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact courteously and professionally with colleagues and the public.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must be in good physical and mental health, as certified by a recognized medical practitioner.
