Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction to divisional and departmental teams to align with ZTBL’s overall objectives and mission.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned divisions and departments, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate teams to achieve performance targets and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Business Development: Drive business growth initiatives, identify new opportunities, and develop innovative strategies to expand ZTBL’s market presence and customer base.
  • Risk Management: Implement robust risk management frameworks to mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks within the divisional and departmental functions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and customers, to enhance ZTBL’s reputation and influence.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and ethical practices across all operations and activities.
  • Financial Management: Manage divisional and departmental budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize financial performance to achieve profitability targets.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors on divisional and departmental performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in banking, financial services, or related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Proven track record of strategic leadership, operational management, and business development within a complex organizational structure.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations, risk management principles, and corporate governance frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive performance and growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, foster a culture of innovation and excellence, and drive results in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct, with a commitment to upholding ZTBL’s values and principles.
