The Women Development Department (WDD) of Punjab is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual for the position of Project Coordinator for the “Integrating Women with Disabilities into Mainstream” project. Main Responsibilities

As the Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and management of the project. Your key responsibilities will include:

Project Planning and Management

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations to foster collaboration and support for the project.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and communications with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.

Program Development

  • Design and implement programs aimed at empowering women with disabilities through education, vocational training, and employment opportunities.
  • Ensure programs are accessible, inclusive, and tailored to meet the unique needs of women with disabilities.

Advocacy and Outreach

Team Leadership

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Educational Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the social development sector.
  • Proven experience working on disability inclusion projects is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Advocacy and public speaking skills to represent the project at various forums.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
  • A thorough understanding of disability rights and inclusion policies.
