The University of Engineering & Technology Lahore invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in various disciplines. Main Responsibilities
- Teaching and Instruction: Deliver engaging lectures, conduct laboratory sessions, and lead seminars to undergraduate and graduate students in your area of expertise.
- Research: Conduct high-quality research in your field, publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, and pursue external funding opportunities to support research initiatives.
- Advising and Mentoring: Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, including advising on course selection, research projects, and career opportunities.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and revision of curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with industry trends and academic standards.
- Service and Outreach: Participate in departmental and university committees, engage in community outreach activities, and collaborate with industry partners to promote knowledge exchange and innovation.
Job Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in a relevant engineering or technology discipline from a reputable institution.
- Teaching Experience: Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, with a commitment to excellence in pedagogy.
- Research Excellence: A strong record of scholarly research, including publications in reputable journals and presentations at conferences.
- Industry Experience (preferred): Experience working in industry or collaborating with industry partners is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
