Position Overview

SBP is currently seeking talented individuals to join its Core Statistics, Digital Innovations, and Settlement Departments. Main Responsibilities

Core Statistics Department

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret economic and financial data to support monetary policy formulation and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain statistical databases and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance data quality and relevance.
  • Contribute to the publication of economic and financial indicators and reports.

Digital Innovations Department

  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the fintech industry.
  • Design and implement digital solutions to enhance the efficiency and security of banking operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate digital innovations into existing systems and processes.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for digital projects and initiatives.

Settlement Department

  • Facilitate the efficient settlement of interbank transactions and securities transactions.
  • Monitor and manage payment systems to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate settlement risks.
  • Collaborate with other financial institutions and regulators to enhance settlement infrastructure and processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of banking operations, financial markets, and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software, programming languages, and digital technologies is an advantage.
