Main Responsibilities

  • Program Planning and Implementation: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement educational programs that align with SEF’s mission and objectives.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of education programs to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in achieving desired outcomes.
  • Capacity Building: Provide support and training to teachers, educators, and program staff to enhance their skills and competencies in delivering quality education.
  • Resource Mobilization: Identify funding opportunities, prepare grant proposals, and engage with donors to secure financial resources for education initiatives.
  • Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, schools, and community organizations to promote collaboration and synergy in education efforts.
  • Advocacy and Outreach: Advocate for policies and practices that promote inclusive and equitable education, and conduct outreach activities to raise awareness about SEF’s programs and initiatives.

Latest Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, International Development, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or related roles, preferably in the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of education issues, policies, and best practices, particularly in the context of Pakistan.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate education programs, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated capacity to mobilize resources, write grant proposals, and manage donor relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative, creativity, and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Fluency in English and Urdu, both written and spoken; proficiency in Sindhi is an asset.
