Main Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate various projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency, transparency, and stability of Pakistan’s financial markets.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your engineering skills to assess, design, and implement technological solutions that support the SECP’s regulatory objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and successful implementation of projects.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project delivery and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of project deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on newly implemented systems and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor project performance and seek opportunities for process optimization and improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in the financial services industry or regulatory environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies, software development lifecycle, and IT infrastructure. Experience with database management systems and programming languages is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and information.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with securities laws, regulations, and compliance requirements is desirable.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is advantageous.
