Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Examinations: Develop and administer competitive examinations to assess the suitability of candidates for various government positions.
  • Recruitment Procedures: Oversee the recruitment process, including advertising job vacancies, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and making recommendations for appointments.
  • Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with government regulations and policies related to recruitment, selection, and employment procedures.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of candidate applications, examination results, and other relevant documentation in accordance with established protocols.
  • Communication: Liaise with government departments, candidates, and other stakeholders to provide information and assistance regarding recruitment processes and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant experience in recruitment, examination administration, or human resource management. Experience in a government or public sector organization will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with government regulations and policies related to recruitment and selection processes. Knowledge of testing methodologies, assessment tools, and psychometric techniques is desirable.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make sound judgments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective interaction with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with recruitment software or databases will be advantageous.
  • Ethical Standards: Demonstrated integrity, impartiality, and adherence to ethical standards in conducting recruitment processes.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives.
