Position Overview

PIEDMC is seeking experienced professionals to join its dynamic team in the roles of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary. The successful candidates will play pivotal roles in steering financial strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the overall growth and sustainability of the organization.

Main Responsibilities

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with PIEDMC’s objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to optimize resource allocation.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by senior management and the Board.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, investment strategies, and risk mitigation.
  • Lead financial reporting processes, including the preparation of periodic financial statements and management reports.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness.

Company Secretary

  • Act as the primary point of contact for corporate governance matters and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including company law, corporate governance guidelines, and listing
    regulations.
  • Facilitate Board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minutes taking, and follow-up on action items.
  • Maintain statutory registers and records, including those related to shareholders, directors, and company filings.
  • Manage communications with regulatory authorities, shareholders, and other stakeholders on corporate matters.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Board of Directors on corporate governance best practices and regulatory developments.
  • Assist in the drafting and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance practices.

Job Requirements

For CFO

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with a track record of strategic financial management.
  • Thorough understanding of financial reporting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing treasury functions, financial planning, and risk management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams.

For Company Secretary

  • Qualified Company Secretary (ICSA, FCIS, or equivalent) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of company law, corporate governance principles, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience in managing corporate secretarial functions and Board support activities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with corporate governance software/tools.
