Main Responsibilities

  • Analytical Insight: Conduct thorough analyses of public sector assets earmarked for privatization. Utilize your expertise to assess their market potential, valuation, and strategic positioning in the private sector landscape.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive privatization strategies tailored to specific assets, considering economic trends, industry dynamics, and regulatory frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate executable plans aligned with national economic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with diverse stakeholders including government entities, private investors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies. Cultivate strong relationships to facilitate smooth transitions and garner support for privatization initiatives.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct rigorous due diligence processes to identify potential risks, opportunities, and mitigating strategies associated with asset divestment. Provide recommendations to enhance asset attractiveness and mitigate transactional complexities.
  • Transaction Support: Support the execution of privatization transactions from inception to closure. Contribute to negotiations, deal structuring, and contract drafting to ensure optimal outcomes for all parties involved.
  • Policy Advocacy: Advocate for policy reforms to streamline privatization processes, enhance transparency, and promote investor confidence. Provide insights and recommendations to policymakers based on industry best practices and empirical evidence.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Stay abreast of global privatization trends, emerging market dynamics, and best practices in asset divestment. Share knowledge internally and contribute to capacity-building initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, or strategic advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, valuation techniques, and strategic planning.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Sound judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to upholding ethical standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling software.
