Main Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize service delivery and coordination processes within PPMC. Lead a multidisciplinary team towards achieving organizational goals and objectives.
  • Service Optimization: Oversee the planning and execution of services related to power generation, transmission, and distribution. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Coordination Enhancement: Foster collaboration among internal departments and external stakeholders, including government agencies, utilities, and energy providers. Facilitate communication channels to streamline coordination efforts and resolve operational challenges effectively.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish robust monitoring mechanisms to track key performance indicators and metrics related to service delivery and coordination activities. Analyze data insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in service delivery and coordination processes. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize disruptions and optimize resource allocation.
  • Innovation & Technology Integration: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in service delivery and coordination methodologies. Implement technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, industry partners, and community stakeholders. Represent PPMC in various forums and advocate for policies that support the company’s mission and objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the power sector, with at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role. Proven track record of driving organizational growth and achieving strategic objectives.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards excellence. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, team building, and change management.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems, as well as regulatory frameworks and industry trends. Familiarity with energy market dynamics and emerging technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data and metrics for decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Strategic Vision: Visionary thinker with the ability to anticipate future trends and develop innovative strategies to position PPMC as a leader in the power sector.
