Main Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and technical leadership in the planning, development, and implementation of technical projects and initiatives.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor technical teams, ensuring effective collaboration, performance, and professional development.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of technical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, conducting research to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, address challenges, and foster partnerships.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the formulation of technical policies, procedures, and standards to support organizational goals and objectives.
  • Risk Management: Assess technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impact on project delivery and outcomes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of technical initiatives, analyzing data and metrics to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in all technical endeavors.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting progress, achievements, and challenges in technical operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a technical leadership role, with a track record of successful project delivery and team management.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts, methodologies, and best practices, with expertise in areas such as software development, network infrastructure, or cybersecurity.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, engage stakeholders, and communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and achieving organizational objectives.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and industry standards in the technical domain.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, make sound judgments, and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
