The National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is pleased to announce opportunities for dynamic and motivated professionals to join our team on a deputation basis for the year 2024. NAVTTC plays a pivotal role in the promotion of vocational and technical education in Pakistan, aiming to equip individuals with the necessary skills to meet the demands of the modern workforce. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about technical education and training, and who can contribute to our mission of enhancing the quality and accessibility of vocational training across the country.

Main Responsibilities

Policy Development and Implementation

  • Develop and implement policies for vocational and technical training programs.
  • Ensure alignment of training programs with national skills development strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training policies.

Program Management

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of training programs.
  • Manage partnerships with educational institutions, industry stakeholders, and government agencies.
  • Coordinate training initiatives to ensure they meet industry standards and labor market needs.

Quality Assurance

  • Develop and enforce quality assurance frameworks for vocational training institutions.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of training programs to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies based on feedback and performance data.

Capacity Building

  • Organize and conduct training sessions for trainers and instructors.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for vocational education staff.
  • Promote the adoption of modern teaching methodologies and technologies.

Research and Development

  • Conduct research on emerging trends in vocational and technical education.
  • Develop innovative training solutions and curricula.
  • Collaborate with industry experts to update and enhance training content.

Administration and Coordination

  • Manage administrative tasks related to the operation of training programs.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between various departments and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present reports on program performance to senior management and government bodies.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Master’s degree in Education, Engineering, Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Additional certifications in vocational training, educational management, or related areas will be an advantage.

Professional Experience

  • At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in vocational and technical training, education management, or a related field.
  • Experience in policy development, program management, and quality assurance is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a government or educational institution will be preferred.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management and strategic planning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must currently be serving in a government department or organization and eligible for deputation.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing educational or training programs.
  • Commitment to the goals and mission of NAVTTC.
