Job Description

As an Investigator at NAB, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into allegations of corruption, fraud, and financial crimes. You will work closely with a team of professionals to gather evidence, analyze financial records, interview witnesses, and build cases against individuals or organizations involved in unlawful activities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that justice is served and that perpetrators of corruption are held accountable for their actions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conducting investigations into allegations of corruption, fraud, and financial crimes.
  • Gathering evidence through various means including interviews, surveillance, and document analysis.
  • Analyzing financial records and transactions to identify irregularities and discrepancies.
  • Working closely with law enforcement agencies and legal experts to build strong cases for prosecution.
  • Presenting findings and evidence in court proceedings and providing testimony as required.
  • Collaborating with other departments within NAB to coordinate efforts and share information.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and integrity throughout the investigation process.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Law, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in conducting investigations, preferably in law enforcement or regulatory agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify patterns of fraud or corruption.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, witnesses, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and investigative techniques.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Integrity, honesty, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
