Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and security of valuable assets? Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) is currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our Security Management team. As a crucial component of one of Pakistan’s leading electric supply companies, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our facilities, personnel, and equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- Security Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and protocols to protect LESCO’s assets, including power stations, substations, and administrative buildings.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and devise proactive measures to mitigate these risks.
- Surveillance and Monitoring: Oversee the installation and operation of security surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras and access control systems, to monitor LESCO facilities round-the-clock.
- Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans to effectively respond to security incidents, such as theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Personnel Training: Provide training and guidance to security personnel to ensure they are well-equipped to handle various security scenarios and adhere to established protocols.
- Collaboration: Liaise with law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and other stakeholders to exchange information, coordinate security efforts, and stay abreast of security trends and developments.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to security management and risk mitigation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in security management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading and motivating a team of security professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in computer applications related to security management, such as CCTV surveillance systems and access control software.
- Certification in security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional, Certified Security Management Professional) is a plus.
