The KP Elementary & Secondary Education Department (KPESED) is at the forefront of transforming education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. As part of our commitment to fostering human capital development, we are launching the Human Capital Investment Project (KPHCIP) 2024. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of education, strengthen teaching standards, and improve learning outcomes across the province.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education Officer to join our team. The Education Officer will play a pivotal role in implementing and monitoring educational initiatives under the KPHCIP 2024. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about making a meaningful impact in the field of education.

Main Responsibilities

  • Project Implementation: Collaborate with project stakeholders to execute educational interventions aligned with the objectives of the KPHCIP 2024.
  • Capacity Building: Conduct training sessions and workshops for teachers, school administrators, and education officials to enhance their pedagogical skills and knowledge.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor the progress of project activities, collect data, and prepare comprehensive reports to assess the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards in teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with parents, community leaders, and other relevant stakeholders to foster a supportive environment for education and promote community participation in educational initiatives.
  • Innovation and Best Practices: Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in education, and identify innovative approaches to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in education, project management, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of education policies, pedagogical practices, and educational development issues.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Urdu; proficiency in Pashto is desirable.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusive and equitable education for all.
