Position Overview

HEC is seeking a dedicated and qualified Program Coordinator to join our team. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting various educational initiatives and programs aimed at advancing higher education standards in Pakistan. Main Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Oversee the implementation of educational programs initiated by HEC, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Coordination: Act as a liaison between HEC, educational institutions, government bodies, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop mechanisms for monitoring program performance and evaluating outcomes, providing regular reports to management.
  • Capacity Building: Organize workshops, training sessions, and capacity-building activities for relevant stakeholders to enhance their understanding of educational policies and practices.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on key issues in higher education, contributing to evidence-based decision-making and policy formulation.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of program activities, achievements, challenges, and lessons learned for internal review and external reporting purposes.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of program budgets, ensuring effective utilization of resources and adherence to financial regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in the field of education or development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
