The Finance Department of Balochistan is dedicated to ensuring the financial health and stability of the region. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our operations, we are seeking qualified candidates for Specialized Units Head & Associate Positions.

Main Responsibilities

Specialized Units Head

  • Lead and oversee specialized units within the Finance Department, such as Budgeting, Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize financial processes and achieve departmental objectives.
  • Provide guidance and direction to unit staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make informed recommendations.
  • Collaborate with departmental leadership to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Serve as a liaison with external stakeholders, including government agencies, auditors, and financial institutions.

Associate Positions

  • Assist specialized units in executing day-to-day financial operations, including budget preparation, expenditure tracking, and financial analysis.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Prepare financial reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and projects.
  • Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in financial management.

Job Requirements

For Specialized Units Head

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

For Associate Positions

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in finance or accounting is preferred but not required.
  • Solid understanding of basic financial concepts and principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
