Position Overview
WSSC Kohat is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving organizational growth, and ensuring the effective delivery of water and sanitation services to the community.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the company’s mission and objectives.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including water supply, sanitation services, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Financial Management: Manage the company’s budget, financial resources, and funding strategies to ensure sustainability and growth.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and community organizations.
- Team Leadership: Provide direction and guidance to the management team and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing water and sanitation services.
- Community Outreach: Engage with the local community to understand their needs, address concerns, and promote awareness of water conservation and sanitation practices.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the company’s operations, reputation, or financial stability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the water utility sector or related industry.
- Proven track record of strategic planning, organizational development, and operational management.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team building, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in water supply and sanitation.
- Passion for environmental sustainability, public health, and community development.
