Job Description
Soneri Bank is excited to announce openings for its prestigious Trade Officer Program 2024. This program offers a unique opportunity for dynamic individuals to embark on a rewarding career path in international trade finance. As a Trade Officer, you will be at the forefront of facilitating trade transactions, managing documentation, and ensuring seamless processes for our valued clients.
Main Responsibilities
- Process and manage import/export documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clients, banks, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth trade transactions.
- Conduct thorough analysis of trade finance documents to mitigate risks and ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of letters of credit, guarantees, and other trade finance instruments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to trade finance operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in trade finance operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in international trade finance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, or related field.
- Strong understanding of international trade finance concepts and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience in trade finance operations is preferred but not required.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
