Main Responsibilities
- Delivering Lectures: Delivering high-quality lectures to undergraduate and postgraduate students in their respective field of expertise.
- Conducting Tutorials and Workshops: Conducting tutorials, workshops, and seminars to facilitate interactive learning and enhance students’ understanding.
- Curriculum Development: Contributing to the development and revision of curriculum content, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Supervision and Evaluation: Providing guidance and supervision to students on research projects, assignments, and clinical rotations. Evaluating student performance through assessments and examinations.
- Research and Scholarly Activities: Engaging in research activities, including publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals, presenting at conferences, and securing research grants.
- Professional Development: Keeping abreast of advancements in the field through continuous professional development and participating in relevant training programs.
- Collaboration and Networking: Collaborating with colleagues within the department and across disciplines. Building networks with industry professionals and academic institutions for collaborative projects and partnerships.
Job Requirements
- Educational Qualification: A minimum of a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline. A Ph.D. or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Teaching Experience: Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level. Experience in medical education will be an advantage.
- Clinical Experience (where applicable): For clinical positions, relevant clinical experience and certification are required.
- Research Track Record: Evidence of research productivity, including publications in reputable journals and participation in research projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
