Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Coach to join the coaching staff of the Pakistan National Men’s Cricket Team. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach and support in the development and implementation of training programs, strategies, and tactics to enhance the performance of the team.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in planning and delivering training sessions, focusing on skill development, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning.
- Analyze individual player performances and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff and support personnel to ensure a cohesive and effective team environment.
- Contribute to match preparation and strategy formulation, including opposition analysis and scouting.
- Mentor and guide players, providing motivation and support to help them reach their full potential.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in cricket coaching and incorporate innovative techniques into training programs.
- Act as a role model for players, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and commitment to excellence.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a cricket coach, preferably at the international or first-class level.
- Sound knowledge of cricket techniques, tactics, and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with players and coaching staff.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate players to achieve their goals.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess player performances and provide constructive feedback.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as per the team’s training and match schedule.
- Minimum Level 2 coaching certification from a recognized cricket board (e.g., PCB, ICC, ECB, etc.).
- Passion for cricket and a genuine desire to contribute to the success of the Pakistan National Men’s Cricket Team.
