In a significant boost to its automotive industry, Pakistan has commenced the export of vehicles and spare parts to the global market. This initiative is backed by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), which has been instrumental in promoting and supporting the country’s automotive sector.
The major export initiative was announced by Indus Motor Company at an event in Karachi. The event was attended by notable figures, including the Minister for Industries and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain. The company plans to export various models of vehicles and spare parts, marking a new chapter in Pakistan’s industrial capabilities.
Minister Hussain highlighted the government’s commitment to bolstering the automotive industry through supportive policies and the SIFC’s efforts. He emphasized that these measures are aimed at enhancing the export potential of locally manufactured vehicles and spare parts, thereby contributing to the country’s economic growth.
