The National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is the apex body at the national level to regulate, facilitate, and provide policy direction in the field of vocational and technical training. NAVTTC is striving to enhance the productivity and employability of the youth through skill development.
Project Overview
NAVTTC is currently implementing the Skill Development Project (SDP) from 2023 to 2028, aimed at enhancing the technical skills of the Pakistani youth to meet the demands of the modern job market. Under this project, NAVTTC is looking for qualified and passionate individuals to join as Technical Trainers.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and deliver technical training programs to develop the skills of trainees in various vocational and technical fields.
- Develop training materials, manuals, and resources to support the delivery of technical training programs.
- Assess the training needs of trainees and tailor training programs accordingly.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on training sessions to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of trainees and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and industry partners to align training programs with industry requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and assessments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical training or vocational education.
- Proficiency in delivering technical training programs and conducting practical demonstrations.
- Strong knowledge of technical subjects related to the assigned training area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with trainees and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites across Pakistan as required.
