Job Description
NICVD Karachi is currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Trainee Medical Officers (TRMO) and Nursing Staff. As a TRMO or Nursing Staff member, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases. You will work alongside experienced medical professionals, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and contributing to the well-being of our patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients admitted to NICVD Karachi.
Assist in the assessment, monitoring, and treatment of patients under the supervision of senior medical staff. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor vital signs and patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns promptly. - Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing support and education regarding their condition and treatment plan.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient charts, treatment plans, and progress notes. Adhere to established documentation protocols and procedures.
- Professional Development: Actively participate in training programs and educational opportunities provided by NICVD Karachi.
Stay updated on advances in cardiovascular medicine and healthcare practices.
Job Requirements
For Trainee Medical Officers (TRMO)
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular medicine.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
For Nursing Staff
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
- Prior experience in cardiovascular nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach toward patient care.
- Proficiency in basic nursing procedures and techniques.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
