Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Member (IT). As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the IT landscape of Pakistan, contributing to policy formulation, strategic planning, and the implementation of transformative initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Policy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate policies that promote the growth and development of the IT sector, ensuring alignment with national development goals.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term strategies and action plans to enhance Pakistan’s digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, and innovation ecosystem.
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with industry stakeholders, government agencies, and international partners to foster collaboration, exchange best practices, and address challenges facing the IT sector.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor regulatory developments and provide guidance on compliance matters related to IT and telecommunications laws and regulations.
- Capacity Building: Support initiatives aimed at enhancing the technical skills and capabilities of IT professionals and promoting digital literacy among the population.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in IT policy, strategy, or project management, preferably in the public sector or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of IT and telecommunications technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Proven track record of effectively managing complex projects and driving results in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to IT and telecommunications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
