Main Responsibilities
- Behavior Therapist
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with individuals with autism.
- Collect data and track progress of clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Speech Therapist
- Assess speech and language abilities of individuals with autism.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to improve communication skills.
- Provide training and support to clients, families, and caregivers.
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy as needed.
Occupational Therapist
- Conduct assessments to identify sensory, motor, and cognitive deficits.
- Develop and implement occupational therapy interventions to improve functional abilities.
- Collaborate with other professionals to address holistic needs of clients.
- Provide education and support to families and caregivers.
Special Education Teacher
- Plan and deliver individualized instruction based on students’ needs and abilities.
- Create and modify curriculum to meet educational goals.
- Implement behavior management strategies in the classroom.
- Collaborate with therapists and support staff to address students’ needs.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist
- Implement ABA techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with BCBAs to develop behavior intervention plans.
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field (Education, Psychology, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, etc.).
- Relevant certification or licensure (e.g., BCBA, RBT, CCC-SLP, OTR/L, Special Education Certification).
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
