Main Responsibilities
- Maintain Law and Order: Patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of crime, respond to emergency calls, and enforce applicable laws.
- Protect Citizens: Protect the lives and property of citizens by maintaining a visible presence and promptly responding to emergencies.
- Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations of crimes, accidents, and other incidents, gather evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Traffic Management: Direct traffic, enforce traffic laws, and assist with accident investigations to ensure the safe flow of vehicles and pedestrians.
- Community Engagement: Build positive relationships with community members through proactive engagement, public outreach programs, and community policing initiatives.
- Support Superior Officers: Assist senior officers in various tasks, provide backup during operations, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum Matriculation (10th Grade) or equivalent qualification from a recognized educational board.
- Age Limit: 18 to 28 years (Relaxation in age limit as per government rules for specified categories).
- Physical Fitness: Candidates must meet prescribed physical fitness standards, including height, weight, and endurance requirements.
- Citizenship: Pakistani citizenship is mandatory.
- Character: Candidates must possess good moral character and be free from any criminal record.
- Communication Skills: Basic proficiency in Urdu and regional languages, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must pass a comprehensive medical examination conducted by authorized medical practitioners.
- Driving Skills: Possession of a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
