Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with diverse communities across Karachi.
• Organize and coordinate community events, workshops, and information sessions to promote awareness of government programs and services.
• Collaborate with local organizations, stakeholders, and community leaders to identify needs and concerns within various neighborhoods.
• Conduct surveys and gather feedback to assess the effectiveness of outreach initiatives and tailor future activities accordingly.
• Serve as a liaison between the community and government agencies, providing assistance and support to residents seeking information or assistance.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and promotional materials to communicate outreach activities and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.
• Stay informed about local issues, policies, and initiatives relevant to community development and engagement.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, communications, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in community outreach, public relations, or a similar role, preferably within a government or nonprofit organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of community engagement principles, including outreach strategies, stakeholder engagement, and relationship building.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for community events and activities.
• Valid driver’s license and access to transportation for travel within Karachi.
