Directorate General Health Services-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a leading governmental body committed to providing quality healthcare services to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare delivery, we are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Project Driver for a donor-funded project.
Main Responsibilities
- Safely and responsibly operate assigned project vehicles in compliance with local traffic regulations and project policies.
- Provide transportation support to project staff and stakeholders as per the project’s requirements.
- Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and timely servicing of project vehicles to keep them in optimal working condition.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of project equipment, materials, and supplies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor vehicle usage and report any issues or concerns to the project manager promptly.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols while driving and handling project vehicles.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the project management team to support project activities effectively.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Matriculation or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a project or organizational setting.
- Familiarity with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s road network and traffic regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Urdu or Pashto; knowledge of English would be an advantage.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required for project activities.
