We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team for the MONHSRC PSDP Funded Project 2024. This project aims to address critical healthcare challenges related to AIDS, TB, and Malaria, contributing to improved health outcomes within our community. As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating project activities to ensure the successful implementation and achievement of project goals.
Main Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Implementation:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of project activities according to established plans and timelines.
- Monitor progress towards project objectives and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including government agencies, partner organizations, and community leaders.
- Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for project activities.
Resource Management:
- Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, finances, and materials, to optimize project outcomes while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Identify resource needs and work with project team members and stakeholders to secure necessary resources.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Develop and implement systems for monitoring and evaluating project progress and outcomes.
- Collect and analyze data to assess project effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on project performance for internal and external stakeholders.
Capacity Building:
- Identify training needs among project staff and stakeholders and develop plans to address them.
- Provide mentorship and support to project team members to enhance their skills and capacity.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, International Development, or Business Administration. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in the health sector and/or international development context.
- Strong understanding of issues related to AIDS, TB, and Malaria, as well as broader public health and development challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and coordinate a team towards common goals.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting equity and inclusion in all aspects of project implementation.
