PTI Chairman Barrister Ghauhar Ali Khan hailed the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s verdict on the reserved seats case as a moment of joy for Pakistan’s democratic populace.

“This decision will be etched in history. We have secured our rights. There were claims that our rights were under threat, but today, 11 judges ruled in our favor,” he remarked.

“The decision was 8 to 5 in our favor,” he added.

“We urge the Election Commission of Pakistan to implement the court orders promptly. Our intra-party certificate should be issued this week.”

“KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur played a crucial role by postponing the oath in the KP Assembly. There is no need for re-election,” the PTI chairman asserted.

“Justice Faiz Isa’s dissenting note was not unexpected,” he commented on Chief Justice Wazi Faez Isa’s reading of Justice Jamal Mandohel’s dissent.

Salman Akram Raja, PTI’s counsel in the reserved seats case, declared, “Today marks a golden day in Pakistan’s history. We have won the legal battle and aim to prevail in the democratic struggle.”

“Our objective is to strengthen democracy in Pakistan,” he emphasized.

Former PTI senator Shibli Faraz highlighted that the current government was formed based on Form-45 and called for the restoration of their mandate.
