The District & Sessions Courts Hangu are currently seeking applications for the position of Court Clerk. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to the legal system and serve the community in a dynamic environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Case Management: Efficiently manage court cases by maintaining accurate records, scheduling hearings, and coordinating with judges, lawyers, and other court personnel.
- Document Handling: Prepare, process, and maintain legal documents such as court orders, summonses, warrants, and judgments. Ensure all documents are properly filed and recorded.
- Court Proceedings Assistance: Assist in court proceedings by providing administrative support during hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings. This includes recording minutes, administering oaths, and managing exhibits.
- Client Interaction: Interact with litigants, attorneys, and the general public to provide information, assistance, and guidance regarding court procedures, case status, and related inquiries.
- Data Entry: Accurately input and update case information into the court’s electronic database system. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive legal data.
- General Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, photocopying documents, and maintaining office supplies.
Job Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Law or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience working in a legal environment or court setting is desirable but not mandatory. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with database management systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu. Ability to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail. Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Integrity: Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and also independently with minimal supervision.
