BISP is a flagship social safety net program aimed at reducing poverty and empowering disadvantaged individuals across Pakistan. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team in the position of Project Coordinator.
Main Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned projects within BISP, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective project coordination and achieve program objectives.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track project progress, identify areas for improvement, and measure impact on beneficiaries.
- Capacity Building: Provide training and support to project staff and partners to enhance their skills and capabilities in project management, data analysis, and reporting.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on project activities, outcomes, and challenges for internal review and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in the development sector. Experience working with government agencies and international organizations is an asset.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques. Ability to analyze data and generate insights. Fluency in English and Urdu, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of social protection programs, poverty alleviation strategies, and development issues in Pakistan. Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation methodologies is desirable.
