As part of our ongoing initiatives, we are launching a groundbreaking Technology Park Development Project in Islamabad, aimed at fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration in the tech industry.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Park Development Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and management of this flagship project. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Pakistan’s technology landscape by creating a world-class ecosystem for startups, tech companies, and research institutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Site Selection and Development: Lead the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of suitable land for the technology park. Oversee the design, construction, and infrastructure development phases.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, private sector partners, academia, and community stakeholders to garner support and ensure alignment of interests.
- Tenant Acquisition and Management: Develop strategies to attract leading tech companies, startups, research centers, and other tenants to the technology park. Manage tenant relationships and facilitate their integration into the ecosystem.
- Program Development: Design and implement programs, events, and initiatives to support innovation, entrepreneurship, skills development, and knowledge sharing within the technology park.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and legal requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Financial Management: Monitor project expenditures, manage budgets, and secure funding through grants, sponsorships, and other sources.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in real estate development, urban planning, or technology innovation.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects from conception to completion, including site selection, design, construction, and operations.
- Strong understanding of the technology industry, startup ecosystem, and innovation trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks, zoning laws, and land acquisition processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
