Pakistan Railways Sukkur Division is currently seeking experienced and dedicated individuals to join as Retired Assistant & Station Masters. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of railway stations within Sukkur Division. Main Responsibilities
- Station Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of railway stations, including ticketing, passenger services, and freight operations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a secure environment for passengers, staff, and cargo.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordination: Coordinate with train crews, maintenance teams, and other departments to facilitate efficient train operations and station maintenance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of train schedules, passenger counts, and freight movements.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly, implementing appropriate measures to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise station staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations and adherence to policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Retired Railway Professional: Candidates must be retired Assistant or Station Masters with extensive experience in railway operations.
- Knowledge of Railway Operations: In-depth understanding of railway operations, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with passengers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and resolve issues efficiently.
- Leadership Qualities: Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment and achieving organizational goals.
