Faisalabad Electric Supply Company Limited (FESCO) is seeking dynamic and skilled individuals to join our team. As a leading electricity distribution company in Pakistan, FESCO is committed to delivering reliable and efficient electricity services to our customers. We are currently looking to fill the following position:
Main Responsibilities
- Network Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of electrical distribution networks to identify and rectify faults, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to customers.
- Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to customer complaints and technical issues, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Installation and Repair: Carry out installations, repairs, and replacements of electrical equipment, including transformers, cables, and meters, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Meter Reading: Perform meter readings accurately and timely, recording consumption data and generating billing information for customers.
- Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving billing disputes, and promoting energy conservation initiatives.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service requests, and equipment inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate workflow, share knowledge, and achieve operational goals effectively.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times, minimizing risks of accidents or injuries in the workplace.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance and operations, preferably in the power distribution sector.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, interpreting technical diagrams, and using testing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations governing power distribution networks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required for fieldwork.
- Commitment to safety practices and willingness to undergo safety training as necessary.
