GC University Lahore is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Daily Wages Sanitary Workers. As a member of our sanitation team, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the university campus. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Sweeping, mopping, and dusting designated areas such as classrooms, corridors, offices, and restrooms.
- Emptying waste bins and disposing of trash in designated areas.
- Cleaning windows, doors, and other surfaces as required.
- Refilling supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels in restrooms.
- Following safety protocols and procedures to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment.
- Assisting with special cleaning projects as assigned by supervisors.
- Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in Urdu or English.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Reliability and punctuality in attendance to ensure coverage of assigned shifts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in janitorial or sanitation work is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work on a temporary, daily wage basis as per the university’s needs.
