Heavy Industries Taxila Board, under the Ministry of Defence Production, is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Consultant Budget Required. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing budgetary planning, analysis, and execution of various projects and initiatives within the organization. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets for projects and operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, forecast future financial performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor budget implementation, identify variances, and work with project managers and department heads to address deviations from planned expenditures.
- Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into budgetary performance and areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline budgeting processes, enhance financial controls, and support decision-making.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and evaluate the financial feasibility of proposed projects and initiatives.
- Stay updated on relevant financial regulations, policies, and best practices to ensure compliance and adherence to standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing or heavy industries environment.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of government budgeting processes and regulations is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are desirable.
