Margalla Heavy Industries Taxila is a leading industrial company specializing in heavy machinery production located in Taxila, Pakistan. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Account Officer to join our team. Main Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filings, including sales tax, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the finance function.
- Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and liquidity to support business operations and financial stability.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Additional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CIMA are preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the achievement of team goals.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
