Main Responsibilities
As a faculty member at Government College University Hyderabad, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Teaching Excellence: Delivering high-quality instruction to undergraduate and/or graduate students in your respective field of expertise.
- Curriculum Development: Contributing to the design and development of curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with academic standards and educational objectives.
- Research and Scholarly Activities: Engaging in research activities, publishing scholarly work, and actively participating in academic conferences and seminars.
- Student Mentorship: Providing guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their intellectual growth, and supporting their academic endeavors.
- Service and Collaboration: Collaborating with colleagues, participating in departmental and university-wide initiatives, and contributing to the academic community through service activities.
Job Requirements
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Educational Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree in the relevant field is required. A Ph.D. is preferred for senior faculty positions.
- Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience at the university level is highly desirable.
- Research Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in conducting research, with a record of publications in reputable journals or conferences.
- Subject Matter Expertise: In-depth knowledge and expertise in the specific area(s) of specialization.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
- Commitment to Excellence: A commitment to upholding academic standards, promoting diversity and inclusion, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment, contributing to the collective success of the department and the institution.
