Main Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of development projects within the designated area of operation.
- Coordination: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and international organizations, to ensure effective project implementation.
- Resource Allocation: Manage project resources efficiently, including human resources, finances, and materials, to achieve project objectives within allocated budgets and timelines.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure project progress, identify challenges, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive project reports, including progress updates, expenditure summaries, and impact assessments, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Capacity Building: Facilitate training and capacity-building initiatives for project staff and community members to enhance their skills and knowledge related to project activities.
- Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders, ensuring their active participation and support in project activities.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree would be an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in the development sector or with government agencies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, budgeting, and reporting. Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies is desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu. Knowledge of local languages would be an asset.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in challenging and dynamic environments, with a flexible and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
